EMIG-NG Research Drive 2.0 Update
The review of proposals is now complete and feedback has been delivered to the group members. Four research groups will now be proceeding to commence their research.

Discounted BLS and ACLS Certification from EHCON
Emergency Health Consultants (EHCON) will be providing discounted BLS and ACLS training to interested persons at the rates of #30,000 (originally #40,000) and #70,000 (originally #85,000). BLS training is a prerequisite to register for the ACLS and a discount applies to group registration with a minimum group size of 6 persons.
Interested persons should please send an email to EMIG with their full names and phone numbers on/before 11:59 pm, 23rd of April, 2023.

Black Girl White Coat (BGWC) is a not-for-profit organization that supports the interest of Black and Hispanic girls within the US healthcare space. It does great work to support these students and professionals who are often underrepresented. Mentorship is one of these means of providing support and it is completely free. SAEM 2023 Consensus Conference on Precision Emergency Medicine
Precision emergency medicine involves the use of data science and technology to improve the safety and efficiency of the acute care we provide. It is a relatively new and evolving field with huge gaps still present in the literature on how best to implement it. The relevant questions will be examined by experts at this consensus conference. We want to remind all members that EMIG-NG is dedicated to supporting EM-bound medical students and young doctors on the journey through their EM careers and to ensure that we remain focused on this, the executives painstakingly conduct selection processes before each member is admitted.
